Real-time translated subtitles for any video in your browser, shown in a floating box you can drag and resize.
What it does
Subtly listens to the audio playing in the tab you choose, transcribes and translates it as it happens, and displays the result right on the page. It supports more than 60 languages and detects the spoken language automatically.

What you need
Subtly uses the Soniox speech recognition service. You bring an API key from your own Soniox account and paste it into the extension's settings. Usage is billed to that account.
On privacy: Subtly has no server of its own. Audio is sent only to Soniox for translation, and only when you press start on a tab you selected. No analytics, no ads, no tracking. Details in the Privacy Policy.
